Experience Across Competitive Levels
I’ve worked with athletes across a wide range of sports, competitive levels, and performance environments. While every sport has its own demands, the foundations of mental performance remain consistent: confidence, focus, resilience, emotional control, preparation, and performing under pressure.
Baseball • Softball • Basketball • Soccer • Swimming • Water Polo • Lacrosse • Cross Country • Track & Field • Equestrian • Competitive Cheer • Dance • Gymnastics • Football • Volleyball • Tennis • Pickleball • Hockey • Golf • Surfing
Experience includes athletes competing at youth, high school, collegiate, elite, and professional levels, including professional equestrian and professional surfing.
Mental Performance Coaching for the Challenges Athletes Actually Face
Talent and physical preparation are only part of performance. Confidence can disappear after a mistake. Pressure can make competition feel completely different from practice. Motivation can drop after a setback, injury, reduced playing time, or a difficult stretch of the season. Mental performance coaching helps athletes develop practical skills to respond to these challenges and perform with greater confidence and consistency.
Confidence
Recover from mistakes, setbacks, and dips in confidence.
Motivation
Rebuild drive and stay engaged through difficult stretches of a season.
Pressure & Anxiety
Manage nerves and perform when the moment feels bigger.
Consistency
Build mental routines that translate from practice to competition.
Focus
Stay present, manage distractions, and reset when attention slips.
Setbacks & Transitions
Navigate injuries, role changes, reduced playing time, and other challenges.
How Mental Performance Coaching Helps
Mental performance coaching isn't about eliminating nerves, pressure, or mistakes. It's about developing the skills to respond to them effectively. Sessions are individualized to the athlete and focus on practical strategies that can be used in training, competition, and everyday life.
Mental Skills
Confidence • Focus • Self-talk • Visualization • Emotional control
Performance Under Pressure
Manage nerves, expectations, and high-pressure competitive situations.
Resilience & Response
Reset after mistakes, handle setbacks, and respond productively to adversity.
Individualized Strategies
Develop strategies that fit you, your sport, and the situations you actually face.
What to Expect in a Session

Sessions are conversational, practical, and tailored to what you're experiencing right now. We'll identify what's getting in the way of your performance, develop strategies that fit you and your sport, and turn those strategies into skills you can use when it matters.
Identify
We talk through what's happening in your sport, what you've been experiencing, and what you'd like to improve.
Develop
We build practical mental strategies around your specific needs, personality, and competitive environment.
Apply
You leave with tools to practice and use in training and competition—not just ideas we talked about during the session.
Why Work With Me

Mental performance coaching should be practical, individualized, and grounded in the realities of competition. My background as both a Licensed Clinical Mental Health Counselor and Certified Mental Performance Consultant® allows me to bring a strong understanding of psychology, behavior, and performance into my work with athletes.

I work collaboratively with athletes to understand what is getting in the way, develop strategies that fit the individual, and build mental skills that can actually be used when the pressure is on.
